Golf on Curaçao from Villa Cuchita
Would you like to play a round of golf during your holiday? Curaçao has three full 18-hole courses, each with its own character. Bring your own clubs, or ask the golf course itself about renting clubs.
Blue Bay Golf
Blue Bay Golf is an 18-hole, par-72 course on the Caribbean Sea. The course combines elevation changes, rocks, tropical vegetation and views over the water. Blue Bay works on a pay-and-play basis and has a driving range, putting and chipping areas, lessons and clinics, and golf carts with GPS.
It is an attractive choice if you want to combine golf with a day around Sint Michiel and Blue Bay.
Old Quarry Golf Course – Santa Barbara Estate
Old Quarry Golf Course lies on the Santa Barbara Estate near Spanish Water. This 18-hole championship course was designed by Pete Dye and follows the natural landscape between the Caribbean Sea, Spanish Water and the Tafelberg.
Old Quarry also has a full driving range, a chipping area and a putting area.
Curaçao Golf & Squash Club – Emmastad
The Curaçao Golf & Squash Club is in Emmastad, Willemstad. The club was founded in 1931 and offers an 18-hole, par-70 course with 10 greens. There is also a putting green, a golf school, a pro shop and options for lessons and clinics. According to the club, non-members can play too.
This course has a very different character from Blue Bay and Old Quarry, and is interesting if you want to experience different kinds of golf in a single holiday.
Playing all three? Look at the Curaçao Golf Pass
Curaçao has three full 18-hole golf courses: Blue Bay, Old Quarry and Curaçao Golf & Squash Club. We have not found a fourth full 18-hole course. For keen golfers there is an interesting extra: the Curaçao Golf Pass, which lets you play all three courses. More than just a round of golf
Even if you don’t want to play 18 holes right away, there are options. Blue Bay and Old Quarry have extensive practice facilities and offer lessons. That makes golf on Curaçao suitable for anyone who wants to try a clinic, keep their swing in shape, or spend a few hours on the driving range with an experienced golfer.
A golf holiday with your own villa and pool
Villa Cuchita in Fontein is a quiet base for a holiday in which you can combine beach, golf and your own private pool. After a round you don’t have to stay in a busy resort: you drive back to your own villa, terrace and pool.
Book a tee time? Reserve your tee time directly with the golf course. There is no golf set at Villa Cuchita itself: bring your own clubs, or ask the course about rental clubs.
